This is at the time of the Mahabharata war where a fearsome battle was being fought between the brothers of the same family, Pandavas and the Kauravas. It was a war between the just and unjust, dharma and Adharma.
During the war, Arjun killed his Guru Dronacharya with help of Krishna. How unfortunate would be that moment be where a Guru had fought against his own disciple and for the disciple having to kill his own Guru!
When Ashwatthama, son of Guru Dronacharya got the news of his father’s death, he was furious. He shot a terrible weapon Narayanastra on the Pandava army. The power of the weapon was such that no one could retaliate it. It burned and destroyed all those who had weapons in their hands or were seen trying to fight.
Krishna was aware of the power of this weapon and the damage it would cause on the Pandavas. He ordered the army to immediately drop all their weapons and remain quiet with folded hands. He then said –
“Don’t even bring the thought of war to mind as that would also destroy you!”
Everyone just did what was told. Narayanastra gradually calmed down when its time expired.
The Pandava’s army was saved in this way.

Battles are not just about attacks and counter attacks. Some battles are won by staying quiet.
In today’s testing times and to escape the wrath of the nature, we all need to stay calm, remain quiet, and let the bad phase pass.
